He Lives!

Remember Skittles? And how he came to our house over spring break? Well, good news, friends! We didn’t kill him!

This is his cage. It was either in the middle of the playroom floor or the living room floor at all times. You know, so we could sit there and watch him. Which we did. At all times.

This is Zoey feeding Skittles on her lap. Which she wanted to be doing at all times.

Zoey even taught me how to correctly pet a guinea pig.

Look at me! Petting a guinea pig! With only a slight look of disgust on my face! Whee!

And Zoey with a permanent look of joy her her face.

My New mug:

Thank you, thank you very much. Glad we didn’t kill the school rabbit . . . LIKE SOME PEOPLE. πŸ˜‰ xo

I *knew* you could do it. You deserve that mug. Keep it in sight at all times around the house as a reminder to everyone about how awesome you are.

That’s the question isn’t it. Certain people are lobbying for Skittles to vacay at our house . . . TBD

I can get you one if you take Skittles for the summer . . . and don’t kill him. πŸ™‚

I think that is fabulous. Ferrets are also great pets. We once took care of two ferrets for a friend. Very nice. Smelled of the woods and the wild. And, always provided us with that back to nature feeling. It was especially good when they were out and the dog would chase then all about the house. What fun!

Letting the ferrets out with dogs around? Well, that is one way to live on the edge. Also, I think ferrets smell less of the woods and the wild than . . . something else. πŸ™‚
